Tig welder — Morgan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Morgan County, Utah. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
