Foundry labourer — Weakley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Weakley County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
