Press shop operator — Burt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Burt County, Nebraska. You will work on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
