Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a residential tower block. Your main tasks: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
