Earthmoving plant operator — Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Putnam County, Illinois. The job is at a landfill site. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
