Restoration bricklayer — Hitchcock County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. You will be based on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time, day shift.
