Lorry driver • Vermillion County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lorry driver in Vermillion County, Indiana. You will be based at a container freight yard. On the job you will handle: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Ideal candidate: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Current Driver CPC qualification card Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
