Vertical transportation technician — Humboldt County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Humboldt County, California. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands.
