Vertical transportation technician — Ochiltree County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Ochiltree County, Texas. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Run load and overload tests with test weights You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
