Vacancy available: foundry labourer (New Mexico)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Sierra County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
