Render and set plasterer — St. Helens

Vacancy available: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in St. Helens, England. Day to day you will fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; check walls for plumb and level as you go; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush. What we are looking for: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £2,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
