Steel fixer — Levy County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Levy County, Florida. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 6+ years on the tools preferred.
