Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in El Paso County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
