Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Comal County, Texas. You will be based on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Part-time with flexible hours.
