Gas service engineer wanted in Travis County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Travis County, Texas. The job is at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion The role involves: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
