Argon welding operator wanted in Newton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Newton County, Texas. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
