Stone mason — Monroe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stone mason in Monroe County, Alabama. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. The role involves cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting. You should have: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding Part-time with flexible hours. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
