Furnace operator wanted in Elbert County

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Elbert County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
