Cnc setter-operator wanted in Albany County

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Albany County, New York. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear Full-time, day shift.
