You should have: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Own basic hand tools an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
