Excavator operator — Transylvania County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Transylvania County, North Carolina. The role involves backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
