Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Harvey County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Part-time with flexible hours.
