Great opportunity: bakery assistant (Kaduna State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Kaduna North, Kaduna State. You will work in a bread factory. On the job you will handle: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
