We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Marshall County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,750 per project, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
