Stainless steel welder — Stokes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Stokes County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Rotating shifts.
