Hand presser — Dawakin Tofa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Dawakin Tofa, Kano State. On a typical shift you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₦170,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
