Immediate opening: road roller operator (Alaska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 5+ years on the tools preferred.
