Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Citrus County, Florida. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Six days a week, one day off.
