VMC operator wanted in Rice County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Rice County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy machine shop. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Rotating shifts.
