Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Highland County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
