Die-casting operator wanted in Waukesha County

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes.
