Press machine operator — Marquette County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Marquette County, Michigan. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
