Tig welder — Preston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Preston County, West Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
