Join our team: packaging machine operator (Connecticut)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills You will report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; set up and start the machine as per the job card; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
