HGV driver — Whatcom County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HGV driver in Whatcom County, Washington. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience The role involves: • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
