The role involves: • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar Requirements: • Own hand tools an advantage • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades 2+ years on the tools preferred.
