Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Uzo-Uwani, Enugu State. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
