We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Saint Lucie County, Florida. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed 1+ years on the tools preferred.
