Flatlock machine operator — Glasgow City

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Glasgow City, Scotland. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
