Cold room technician wanted in Clay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Clay County, Iowa. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
