We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. You will be based at a cake shop. You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Day to day you will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
