Joiner — Mackinac County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a joiner in Mackinac County, Michigan. Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
