Powder coating operator — Wilcox County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Wilcox County, Georgia. You will be based in a busy paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
