Immediate opening: VMC operator (North Carolina)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Warren County, North Carolina. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 2+ years on the tools preferred.
