Flatlock machine operator • Lanier County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Lanier County, Georgia. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Your main tasks: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go 5+ years on the tools preferred.
