Track-type tractor operator — North Lincolnshire

Join our team: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in North Lincolnshire, England. You will work at an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Rotating shifts.
