Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Chatham County, North Carolina. You should have: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance.
