Dough maker • Houston County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dough maker in Houston County, Alabama. You will work at a cake shop. Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; score the top of loaves before baking; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Six days a week, one day off.
