Ironing operator wanted in Frio County

Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Frio County, Texas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
