Plant operator — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Franklin County, Florida. The job is at a landfill site. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
